This rest area sits at the edge of the Temperance River State Park and the Cross River waterfalls. The wayside features a restroom and benches, as well as an historic plaque honoring the pioneer missionary Father Baraga. Across the road from the wayside is a small shop serving drinks, sandwiches and souvenirs.
